Be it I get five or eight hours sleep, I need about 5-7 cups of coffee in the morning and a shower to get rolling and feel awake. I would like to just jump out of bed and feel refreshed..Ya, right.... How about you? Am I alone here?

Instead of the coffee, trying smoking weed. It might not wake you up, but damn you'll feel gooooooood.

I"m allergic to mornings. Yea, I am one of those who sneezes a bit. I read about the phenomenon a while back too - apparently not much you can do IIRC.

How awake am I? Not very. Give me 30 minutes to just start getting up and an hour or so of not talking to anyone and I'm just fine. But eating - always - helps.

Decently so, figure 2-3 minutes before I'm up and running.

I don't drink coffee, and had one cup in last 2 years (with Darth550), so that doesn't do anything for me.

I see what works is, if your significant other has a hand in waking you up. Try that, it really works. ;) Set the alarm 45 minutes earlier than you need to wake up, a little morning romp, and you will be good to go. It will be better than your coffee.

Report back after you have tried above method, and let us know of the results. :D

It takes me a while to be fully awake, but when im awake i cant go back to sleep, its really weird. This means its tough for me to fall asleep in school and i therefore have to pay atttention.

I'm most definatly NOT a morning person. Stay outa my way until at least 10am or you'll risk getting your ear tornen off. I hate waking up to the sound of an alarm buzzer, but it's the only thing that can wake me. Most guys in the shop know not to say anything to me in the morning when I first walk in. I just can't stand getting up early on weekdays.

Funny thing is though on weekends I'm up and happy and ready to go..no problems..I don't even need a coffee!! Very strange.

Maybe you should put that in the prenup:

    1) Wife agrees to sexual romps before work at least 3 days a week

    2) If her weight fluctuates more than 10 lbs, husband will have numerous affairs.

Daily intake of B-Complex vitamins keep the energy level sustained. True, I don't feel as exuberant as sitting in the stands watching a Challenge race in the mornings, but I don't always feel dead dog tired.

Long work days, that's another story.

I try to schedule things in the late morning so I have time to wake up without getting out of bed at 4 or 5. Unfortunately I have 7:30 a.m. classes through the summer. I usually need a long shower about 2 latte's and a Padron maduro delicias to help me get going in the mornings.

Up at 4:20 to a music alarm. 1 cup of coffee while getting dressed and cleaned up. Burn a second cup while feeding the parrots and out the door at 4:45. Half hour drive to work drinking 2nd cup and listening to the radio. At work at 5:15, eat breakfast and ready to rock at 6:00. Sometimes I even wake up on the drive in..............

Don't expect any smiles or coherant greetings until 8:00.
