Skipp - Does your tech have an SD? If not, how do you plan to bleed the clutch?
Did you notice any difference in sound? Mine sounds so good I’m afraid to tinker with it and wondering it Tubi headers will ruin it.
I can report no difference in sound. I’ve got Tubi Headers, Tubi straight pipes, & Capristo bypass. It sounds great.

They wont ruin it, the Tubi retains the factory 4-2-1 layout of the headers. Just made of better material and with really good heat shields. They are also lighter.
On my 95 I have tubi headers, tubi test pipes, tubi muffler and bradan Y pipe and the sounds is insane and exhilarating. So pure. Sent from my BBB100-3 using Tapatalk
I’ll share the process when it comes time. I don’t know what equipment he has or has access to. I posed the question, and his response was “of course” which is good enough for me based on our relationship. I’m going to document as much of this process as possible similar to my Dino thread last year. The tech is Christian Salvi, ex- Foreign Cars Italia and now private mechanic to a private collector here in Charlotte. So far he has done my major service on the CS and replaced the entire suspension system of the Dino among other things. I have 100% confidence in his abilities and know it will be done correctly.
I would just say I wash mine3 times a week for 6 months every summer. 4 plugs of 8 plugs lookd like that but car ran fine. Gaskets were all good so I am thinking the water gets in from the ends where the plug wires go. Cyclinders 3,4,5,6 all had the plugs that looked bad but all still worked fine. Going to try a little silicone around the wires as well this time
…just curious, what's the waterless wash procedure? I use a rinseless clay bar-type soap right now with all my cars and am very happy with the results, but I'm unfamiliar with a completely water-free wash.
My technique is to use a quality detail spray each time I drive the car and then put the car back under the cover. It never gets dirty enough to not be able to do this. I drive my cars just for fun monthly so they stay covered and detailed.
Washed mine once, but cover engine and dry before removing cover. I mainly use detailing most and wipe down after driving and cover in garage as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Parts keep rolling in. Today, spark plug wires. These are the Kingsborn version from Italy. I would have ordered these from Ricambi had I known they were the same price. For some reason I thought these were much more expensive at Ricambi. Not true.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Almost all the parts are in. Today the Kubler grease came in from the UK. About $120 for a friggin tube of grease ! Engine should be down soon for the fun to begin.
This thread has me wanting to add a second 355 to my stable!! Thinking it wld be fun to find a super high mile and refurbish it into a DD. Sent from my BBB100-3 using Tapatalk
