Can anybody tell me in layman's terms, how big eBays computer(s) is (are)? I mean, do they have a computer the size of a room, or does it take up the space of 5 football fields? Is it in one place, or do they have big (or little) servers all over? any guess of how much memory they have? Anybody know what kind or brand they use? Just curious.
Actually, they run it like the SETI project - when you first visit Ebay.com it sneaks a trojan onto your computer. From that time on, YOUR computer acts as the server for any auction categories you happen to search on

What was wrong with his ear? He couldn't pee out of it, right? Or maybe the guy with the earache was you.
That reminds me of the story of the Korean Urologist and the patient with the hearing aid, too long for this poor typist unfortunately...
