How can a major company like Macromedia have server problems?

    I'm ready to spend $400 on Dreamweaver 8 and adobe.com is just spinning with lag. It isn't on my side, I have fiber. I have tried both Firefox and IE, so it isn't my browser either. The offshored customer service just told me to try again later.

    Blows my mind a public company that large which generates much of its business from online purchases and downloads is so swamped or has other technical issues that keep a purchase from happening.

    I really want Dreamweaver 8 bad, but it isn't required, makes me just want to do with out.
