how can you tell which version of manifold you have? about to purchase out of state.

    That is the muffler, not the manifolds. The manifolds are way down under that silver space frame. They are attached to the block.

    If your car is a 2005, 2006, 2007 and part of 2008, you have the MK 1 exhaust manifolds. The remainder of 2008 and all of 2009 have MK 2 manifolds.
    Somewhere in these forums there was a build date when Ferrari changed to the MK 2's.

    True but that doesn't tell if they have been changed. A dealer should be able to tell if they were replaced under warranty.
