:D
when i was in high school i saw a black lambo with "LUCIFER"....very evil, on a very evil looking car.....i was a little suprised the DMV let it slide.
I wanted a vanity plate in the worst way, but couldn't think of anything original enough that wouldn't get me a ticket as soon as an officer saw it. Still want one but don't know what to write on it - thanks for the ideas. In college, I though about getting "NE1 469" or "IB6 UB9" for my MGB, but I didn't have the guts.
A guy I used to work with had NTPAID4 on his Porsche. He kept the same plate on his Sentra after they repo'd it.
One of my personal favorites (pictures below).. I have seen his Porsche Turbo around with the license plate "2xsssive" or whatever..
Maybe it is just me but who do people get the model name for their plates? I mean I see "M3" and "M5" and "F355" for bmw's and ferraris all the time. I just dont understand, I mean their is a model designation already in the back. Having it on the plate, isn't that a bit redundant?
here's a couple. These Ferrari's do not have model designations on the back or anywhere else on the body for that matter. People always ask "what is that!?"
Well in that case, I think it is fine. On a side note, I swear I saw a new 575 with a big badge on the trunk.
Hey Dan, I'm putting the Capristo on the 360 in the next few weeks. I still have not found anyone who likes the sound of the Tubi on the Maranello. What do you think?
Alex, did you know there is another 575M in the Valley with "575M" plates... Practically identical to yours.
driving thru Manhattan last week, I saw an older XJ6 Jag wearing: 6ULDV8 a rather proper, matured gentleman was behind the wheel - go figure!
My own opinion of course. I think all custom plates are tacky. The tackiest are those that echo the car model. I never had and never will hav e custom plates. Just those good old random NY plates made by some prison in upstate NY. Hell, I'm entitled to Doctor's plates on my cars, including special parking in Manhattan, but I wouldn't dream of getting them. Dorky.
I'm a doctor and a NYC Medical Examiner. We get special plates allowing us to park almost anywhere, go down one way streets the wrong way and eat doughnuts with the cops. I don't have them and don't want them.
Oh wow! Do all doctors in NYC get that priviledge or does one have to be a NYC Medical Examiner? (some state post I assume? ) The reason I ask, my uncle is a doctor and his wife is a dentist (lives in valley stream, long island) and I had never heard of it.
