a friend of mine has IM12XL on his navigator, and another friend has RPEME on his yam R1.
My wife had an Audi TT for a couple of years. Her plate was TWO A T, but everyone tried to pronounce it as one word.
Wrong make for this board, but here's the plate from my Corvette Grand Sport. Owners of the Grand Sports affectionately refer to their cars as 'skunks'.
F50 at WWOC many years ago had plate that said "IPO." I guess that's one of the ways to afford one... Man what a sound on that car
I saw: Wweeeeee in Toronto a few months back. (Not sure if I got the right number of 'e's). But what made it better was that it was on a clapped out Nissan (or something similar).
I have been trying to reach you, send me an email: [email protected] Would like to send you an invitation! Ciao
I knew there was a thread for this around somewhere. I have ordered "THPEEDY" for the Boxster - my better half thought of that one. I have ordered "GR8S CHZ" for the 348. "CHZ GR8R' was taken already!!! Cheers Kevin
Here's a picture of my license plate. It's a 1994 300zx Twin Turbo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
dammit!!!!!!!!! mine is " ordered " it will take up to 90 days to get it. it will be " MY784RE " . just got the car a few weeks ago and i have it mostly taken apart right now!!! will post a pic with the tag later!!
My own plate isn't creative at all. Here in Nevada, we can get a 25+ year old car registered as a "classic vehicle" (which exempts it from smog checks), but you can't customize a classic plate. However, my dentist has "2THDOC" on his BMW.
When they asked for the definition I said "it's for my pest control business". Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm in the same boat! 60 days and still waiting. It makes a beautiful car look rather less so. I had mine laminated and mounted in the "official" frame. The real plate will highlight another of my passions, the Florida Gators. It will read "G8RRARI".
Errol Flynn's plate sixty plus years ago; RU 18 (not that he really cared; his last lover was a high school freshman when they first hooked up, but was 17 or so when he died).
I like that one!! I have one guy who gives me a hard time about my "Fiat". Mine is on order also but will be FREMERE..... Italian for (depending on who you ask) : To thrill {to cause to feel a sudden wave of emotion or excitement} Or: To tremble or shake (literal translation) Either way I thought is was pretty appropriate even for an old, slow 308!!! It also keeps people guessing, which will be fun too.
