How did you find Fchat?

I'm talking about print media, those are magazines, you ferrari noob.

 

I'm kind of a regular lurker at the Aston Martin forum, and one of the members there referred to the 'white Ferraris' picture thread here.

I now spend 20x more time here than I do on the AM site.

Someone on AOL car chat told me about FChat.

 

I had just bought my car and a friend told me where to get more info and meet other enthusiasts.

 

A neighbor of mine also had a ferrari and was already a Fchat member. He told me I could find a lot of useful information about our cars, and everything else is history.

My long-suppressed lust for a vintage V12 had just reawakened in late 2001. I was doing a general search on aol for all things Ferrari and came across Fchat and Tom Yang at the same time. I started posting on Tom's board immediately but just checked in here occasionally because Fchat seemed to be concerned with newer Ferraris only. I joined after the Vintage sections were added, and then I discovered the P&R section...

 

I just came here for all the fast women.

Besides: Callahan's was closed.

(And the f-list technical list dried up.)

 

I found it from a google search while looking for technical information on mondials while shopping for my car. I lurked for about 3months before registering and posting.

 

Found F-Chat at Yahoo while doing research for my would be 355. Lurked about a week before registering. Now it's my coffee break/ hi-tea supplement and after dinner must.

I had just purchased my GTB and was using Google to look for some servicing information.

 

I think i was looking for F430 spyshots before the car was out and this site came up.

 

I was on the old expensive car forum and then FC came out of it.

From 6speedonline, somebody mentioned Fchat.

 

I found FChat while searching for answers on how to buy a F430. (turns out that I can't, because I'm not willing to wait years, or pay way over msrp.)

I stayed around for the bikini thread. : )

 

I got drunk at a party and when I woke up the next morning Fchat was in bed with me.

 

My friend told me about it (Texas360Modena). He rarely views or posts anymore due to lack of time, but I'm glad he showed me. Great to have authentic F-Car owners share their cars, experience, and knowledge.

 

So nobody else heard it from the guy in Kentucky at the gas station?

 

My question is not how I got on here, but how do get away again? It follows me everywhere I go where they have a WWW connection. Found it through another Ferrari forum where they discussed this place I call home now....
