How difficult to learn is F1 shifting in the 355?

    So what you're saying is $15,000+ for a pump is not expensive?

    Haven't we found a better source for these? Further, hasn't a mechanic advised that they can usually be repaired?

    Yes, a little over $3,000 was what the price this shop quoted me. They're repairable yes, but I don't know if it's safe to say that most of the time they are repairable, and even if they are how safe is this repair? Some things don't last very long after being rebuilt.

    Fact of the matter is short of people who read that thread are most likely not going to know about this other source that offers that large of a discount.

    The average F355 F1 owner is going to be stuck paying $15k+ if they have an unrepairable pump.

    I'm not telling everyone not buy an F355 F1. I'm just telling them to think twice before doing it.
