So, I need to run a wire from the front air intake through a grommet hole into the cabin for some "defense mechanisms".

Anyhow, to get to the grommet and run the wire it looks like I have some underbody pieces to get access to run and secure the wire. Does anyone know how difficult it is to remove/re-install. I'm average mechanically, but don't want to undertake something that will be a nightmare to get back into place. It looks like a great place to run it would be above the wheel well and or between the wheel well and engine but it looks like its difficult to get access to that area. Thanks.

It would be extremely helpful to fill out your profile so we know which model car you are speaking of... ;)

My bad. It would be a 612.

The other option I have is instead of removing the underbody toward the front, I may have access through the gravel guard, though the section toward the passenger compartment, it looks like the underbody is the only way to get access.
