How do I avoid recording cutting out early?

    I have DirecTV and set it to record the Sprint Race on ESPN. The recording stopped at lap 20. Ughhh. I watched the results in you tube highlights, but don’t want this to happen again.

    I have Direct TV Now. Since there is no option to add 10 or 15 increments, I have to set it to record the following show as well. I have it set to automatically record any & all F1.

    Seems like I only have to worry about this issue for Sprint races?

    TV broadcasters HAVE the technology to alter the times of the broadcast as seen by the set-top-box at your TV.

    That they don't implies that they don't give a hoot about people who record sports shows which can have arbitrary delays.

    That's odd - I've always had the ability to add extra time (15min to up to 3 hours) with DirectTV recordings
