How do I find out history on my Dino?

    I have the car listed on Ebay ('72 246 GT), and someone wrote me saying that it looked as if the car (U.S. model) had spent some time in Europe. Did he use the VIN (03416) to do a search for info? I would love to have that ability, as when I bought it, no history was provided to me- Anyone out there happen to own this beauty before me?

    the best source for previous owner info is the dino register (www.dinoregister.com). it shows that 03416 was in indonesia in late 2004.

    the only problem with the dino register is the info is only as accurate as the person reporting it. there has been a silver dino coupe that shows up frequently on ebay as being indonesia. i am willing to bet someone took your vin and claimed that it was the same car.

    Funny that my car was "in Indonesia" in 2004- Guess I gotta give my garage a new zip code- Really hate these scammers and con men-
