Ok, I have a late 1995 F355, which apparently has the later style "smooth" calipers with Ferrari script that is printed/tampoed/decaled on, as opposed to the cast-in logo like the 348 and early 355.

The calipers are shiny black, front and rear. I would prefer red.

If Kevin Federline can get his damn name on the caliper, I should be able to put the Ferrari logo on after I paint or powdercoat them red.

I have heard reference to "decals", but I cannot determine how the original logo was put on in the first place.

Where can I buy the decals, silkscreen or whatever?

    Thanks, Jay

you can probably get the caliper media blasted with a stencil of the Ferrari logo while they are off the car for the powder coat. The eith clear coat to protect the metal, or hand paint the logo infill.

There was a post here recently where one painted his calipers while on the car, and he gave all the info and paint sources.

I believe it was on a 355 GTB and it was w/in the past month or two.

Look that up as he did a great job and it looked quite nice.

I think I've seen that setup. It says "Brembo", and not Ferrari. I paid the big bucks, otherwise it might as well just say "Dino" on it.

Yes, I saw that. He has the early calipers that have the logo "cast-in", so he was able to carefully sand the paint off. I agree it looks great, and I am trying to reproduce that look with the later "decal" calipers.

You could always have them paint Federline on them and be really flashy

I have the same issue with black brembos on the front I want to make red but put brembo or ferrari back on them. The backs are not an issue as they have the logo in cast as well. If I find anything, I'' let you know. There is a stencil set somewhere for this, I'm sure of it.

I had my calipers redone at Ferrari of Washington, calipers were done in rosso scuderia red powder coating with Ferrari logo installed.
the calipers were identical to factory option. call service department and ask for Glenn 703 478-3606

You can buy them on Ebay. In fact I saw them last night.
Just do a search for Ferrari decals or brake caliper decals under Ferrari.
I think they are under $15. The photo shows white Ferrari lettering on red calipers.
    Hope this helps.

    JM3,
Just researched the caliper decals on Ebay.
The item # is 130014899335 and is listed as "Ferrari decal or brake caliper decal X 190"
They state that they will withstand 350 degree heat and will last up to 10 years. Made from aircraft grade vinyl ( whatever that is )
They are $4.25 each (GBP 2.25) and come from the UK.
    The Ebay seller is " Italian_job_minis "

    UPDATE.
I have purchased the decals, the vinyl stickers, and the templates. I may try all 3, one on each caliper plus an extra.

    I will keep you posted.
