My 328 seats are worn and have a couple of scratches. Also, It appears that a previous owner may have accidentally scratched the driver seat with his ink pen/comb/keys or something. I know that I can't fix the scratch, but how do I renew the faded tan leather ?

I believe that the seats can be restained. Have any of you guys done this ? What is a good stain to buy ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You might wish to look at, consider, ColorPlus. I found it to go on much smoother than leatherique. ColorPlus has the same type products as Leatherique.

+1. I used the ColorPlus system to refurbish the seats in my old Mondial, and they came out beautifully. The products are really good, instructions are great and easy to follow. The one trick with using their rejuvinator oil is to let it sit for days, if not a couple of weeks, before going to the final step of redying the seats. Also, with the dye, I found that doing a number of thin coats worked well until I got desired coverage. The tenancy otherwise is to put it on too heavy which can lead to cracking (which you'll find no matter which system you use). Oh, and when you start, be sure to clean the leather really thoroughly. It pays off in the end. Just be careful about rubbing any bare leather too much as you'll turn it to suede.
