...lanes on the freeway? On my way to San Diego today i was lookin out the window and staring at the painted lines that seperate the lanes and i started to wonder.... I allways though it was done by people but there are 1,000's of miles of lines on each freeway to paint!

    Yes, i am bored! =)

Haha, thats excellent, Usually its just a big old truck doing 5 mph, getting stuck behind one is a major pain!

They have been doing road construction on the way to and from work and school for me for the last three or four months, and they have repainted the lines like 7 or 8 times. Every time, traffic is backed up for ever. That monster garage was BS by the way, the guy who 'donated' the car just kept putting money into it, and donated a second car and stuff. The total cost was millions I think.

You dont know how the lines are painted? I guess you've never followed a line painting truck just to weave over the fresh paint. ...neither have i. Where i live they do it late at night when traffic is either a lot less or totally absent.
