How do Wash a Veyron

The difference between a Pontiac G6 wax and a F430 wax is night and day but only three times the price. Once you enter into the real nice wax category you don't need "the most expensive". You can pick up a great wax for 80 bucks and it should last quite awhile.

It's like nice suits. You can buy a suit for $300 or for $800 but the $3000 suit will be wasted money because most people won't be able to tell the difference over the $800 suit.

Holy crap. That is so much work for a car like that. How much are those XVRs?

My wife said it will be funny if someone runs into the car right after all that.

I didn't pull half that much crap off my Father's 1997 F-250 XLT work truck the first time clay touched it after 7 years. Parked outside, used daily, had 80k miles on it at the time. A wash consists of a garden hose spray under high pressure and short drive. It gets waxed twice a year.

This Veyron was not cared for, pretty much, at all. I'm surprised they bothered to have it detailed let alone gone from the absolute worst to the most fussy care without some sort of embarassment involved. Hmm!

It's neither expensive or time consuming to keep a car looking like new. It just takes a little bit of knowledge and desire.

What is the "two bucket method" of washing a car?

 

I don't own a Ferrari, but I love washing my Mustang by myself. During the summer it gets washed and waxed once a week. It's a lot of work, but it always looks nice.

You know a car is good looking when you love washing it yourself (I believe it was Tiff Needell that said something along those lines and I couldn't agree more).

One bucket is used for getting your mit or sponge soapy and the other is used for rinsing so you don't get dirt in your soapy water and do nasty things to your paint.

 

It's a stupid way of trying to keep your wash mit clean.
