I get so tired of people dumping on the F1 Transmission. The car was designed for the F1 trans, putting it back to a manual six speed makes the car slower. Not to mention the 599 is a big car, it's not like you're going to turn it into a Porsche with the conversion.
I know your comment is about the video (does it show my age calling it a video?) Personally, I don't want my 599 to be a Porsche and neither do I want it to be a manual. Controversially, I like the F1 on the 599 and I like how as you learn the car it works better. I like tuning cars and I like tuning the 599. It's the journey my 599 and I are having together She's big and fast and I want more
I'm putting the HGTE wheels on for next year with 255/35 - 315/35 tires. If I have the funds I will also upgrade the ECUs which will dramatically change the car.
Great choice of Wheels. I went F12 y-spoke 5/10 similar to GTO (but doesn't suit the car as much as the original GTO design even to my eyes) This allows me to run 285 front section with GTO geo and camber increased to 1.8°. Awesome turn in. Can vouch for the HGTE ECUs, excellent upgrade.
