OK, I'm going to read the manual tonight when I get home, but thought I'd ask this super-noob question. How do you adjust shocks? I had my car detailed today (almost 12 hours worth of work). It's looking FANTASTIC! I will post pictures tomorrow (need more coats of Zaino!). Tim Wiley (best detailer in Virginia) noticed the front passenger side was lower than the driver side (or maybe it's the other way around?). Will adjusting the shocks change the ride height at all? What would cause this? I do not see a difference in the ride height at the rear of the car. There is a slight chance the grade of the garage might be causing a bit of it but I won't know that until I take the car outside (raining cats and dogs here all day). Thanks! Steve
The ride height is fully adjustable in the 355 through a wide range but before you adjust anything you need to measure the lower wishbone (centre line of the wishbone mounting bolt) height front and rear and compare to stock specs. Remember there should be a 20mm stagger (unless its a challenge car then its 25mm). Also you don't want to adjust the ride heights incorrectly because you will throw off the corner weights. Spend a lot of time measuring before you adjust anything. You will need special collar wrenches to adjust the collars. Specs: 162-171mm (front), 182-191mm (rear) w/ 20mm stagger
too adjust my shocks, the doctor just turned up the reostat....Ohh...differant shock (sorry...couldn't resist)
