Elliot, I gave it to my Dry Cleaner (he picks up the dry cleaning and laundry) so he knows what the material needs to avoid shrinkage and fading.

My "Cover King" (poly + felt lined) just got washed in the machine - cold/cold/gentle and then
air/delicates (no heat) dry in the dryer. Not a hint of shrinkage, fading or damage. Easy peasy.

You can wash it no problem, just don't use fabric softeners or sheets that could rub off on the paint and look like smears or swirls.

I have washed mine in the washing machine numerous times. I spray it with spray and wash on any spots and throw it in the vertical washer I have. It comes out looking new. This is polyester and not silk so the dry cleaner is a waste to me if you have a decent washing machine.

I’m trying to just wash it myself. First time for everything. Plus it might in some small way justify the dual washers and Duel driers my soon to be X wife decided to put in not knowing all the other **** that has to be done to get the exhaust out of the house

Put it in the washing machine. No different to anything else!

If you don’t know where the washing machine is; ask the boss very nicely; probably best to bring flowers or something as well!!!

I have avoided the cleaning question by never using it. Its in the bag with the gloves and covers for the wheel and seats. Don't like the tight fit and elastic outer edge hooking the underside from what I've seen (but sure looks great). Seems road grim will get on the edges and drag on the paint when putting on/taking off causing the opposite of protection.
