Hard and fast, or slow and gentle? I find myself always punching it and pushing it hard, very difficult to lay off the throttle and just cruise.. I know it's not a GT but sometimes feel like I should be a little more gentle.

Hard and fast, that is what these cars were made for. That having been said I don't drive it hard 100% of the time.

I try to stay within the limit, or close to it.

BUT.....I get there as fast as I can!

Nice Curvy Road in the AM with little traffic- I drive it hard
Wide Open Freeway with little traffic- I go fast

In normal traffic most of the time my shifts are at the 6K range and I am a responsible driver with minimal weaving and speeding.

A night out with the Wife- Mello and no red light racing unless she tells me to "blow the doors off that punk kid in that "xxxxxxxCar"

I can say I agree with the guys here these cars seem to run better the harder they are pushed! I like to keep mine running good!

I drive my daily driver harder than my 430. I guess I'm scared to break it or wear things out faster. My favorite part is the engine noise at mid range rpm. Plus it sticks out like a sore thumb.

It depends on how far ahead I can see down the road. Clear road equals more noise.

This for me as well. I've only had her a week now but I plan to put on 5k annually and keep her juiced and limber. I didn't buy to have a garage queen.

I drive mine daily and I find the more I drive the more gentle I am with her. If I ride my motorcycle for a few weeks, first few days back in the 360 I am kind of rough with her, but right now after 3 weeks of daily...she is lucky to see 4,500RPM most of the day (maybe once a day to 8k, just to hear it).

Not sure why someone buys a Ferrari and does not drive "spiritedly" whenever possible. I do, and also have put ~1000 miles/month on it since getting it (430), in Jan. I love driving it, so why not? Some have posted they drive hard--I think if you stay below red line, and dont be a fool doing donuts or something, it does not hurt it--it's designed to be driven "hard"!

I drive pretty conservatively on the road because here in VA, if police gets you going 20mph over posted speed limit, he/she will give you a reckless ticket and you can go to jail for that. Going to a track is the only option. But, I do open her up sometime around turns/freeway exits that cops cannot possibly waiting.

How do I drive my 360 Spyder ?

    According to the Owners Manual:

    Page 3-6
Do not run the engine at speed rates over 4,000 rpm until oil temperature has reached at least 150~160F (65~70C)

    Page 3-23
Gear shifting will be “faster” if requested with the accelerator pedal pressed all the way down and over 7,000 rpm (sport mode selected)

Always follow the instructions in the Owners Manual

Like a fricken baby, until she is good and warm and then I am a little more heavy with the foot, but if I may relate it to motorcycle riding; I am more of a roll on find of guy than a wheelie type so well within what the awesome machine was designed to take. :)

Loud short bursts of the Stradale F1 style trumpet, never dangerous speed on the road, save that for the track. Always enjoy showing off and pleasing the crowd, if they'd let me I'd drift around every roundabout!

I warm her up, then like to hit the red line whenever I can. Luckily I live rural, and rural NZ is like having your own little private track every day.
It wasn't made to do 4K RPM all day.
