I've got a guy I'd like to know where he is. Could be CA, FL or TX and he owes lots of people money so he wont' have the traditional methods of being found. Any legal, cop type ways to find someone? Credit card transactions, social sec #. Seems difficult to vanish in the US.

I dunno, but if anyone runs into (read: over) my ex-wife, I won't be upset in the least.

As long as you don't register for a license in your new state, don't register to vote and pay for everything in cash, you can stay pretty invisible... Good luck...

    try ZABASEARCH.com
If he bought anything substantial with a C/C, or bought/Re financed a prop, he would be found here

The weak point in all that is your car tag. I know a guy who lives like that now. No taxes, no DL, no anything. He even has to steal power for his trailer. Anyway, no tags on his car either, just some stupid plate with a Bible verse on it because he believes Jesus looks out for him while he lives like this. Well, Jesus hasn't been doing his job for the past 6 months or so because he has been nailed twice now and thrown in jail both times. In fact, he had a court date yesterday. I need to call a friend of mine to find out how things went. I hope he brought Jesus with him.
So, unless you like walking everywhere or bugging your friends (which I am sure has it's limits) you need a car; that car has to have a tag; you will eventually find yourself in front of a cop; you can steal a tag but that just makes it worse if that cop runs it. So on and so on...

Tough way to avoid taxes if you ask me. To hell with people like that. I pay my share, they should too. Case closed.

A few hundred $ to a private detective (if it's worth it) will yield some amazing results.
edit: Unless the person is living 'below ground' effectively--which is very hard to do!

You can try pulling a credit bureau if you have someone who can get you access to that. And yes a PI might be able to help.
