1. The cigarette lighter socket on my 328 does not work ( checked with voltage meter). Also checked fuse (OK). How can I remove the whole socket to fix / replace? 2. Also, the light for the left fan on the instrument panel has come loose and is dangling. How can I reattach? 3. My foglight switch will turn on if depressed but then turns off. Do I have to replace the switch or can I fix by making an adjustment? Just a couple of minor projects to keep me occupied
I have never removed my cig lighter but I would suppose you would have to access it from the underside of the panel. It may be a simple pop in but I wouldn't pry on it unless i knew exactly how it's put in there.
Lighter comes out from the bottom. Remove center plate and it will uncsrew from the bottom. Do we assume that the fuse is OK.
What you are calling fog lights are actually Passing Lights it's a momentary switch for flashing people.. Wrap some two sided tape around the broken dash light holder until it jams back in and stays...or you can buy a new ring that still has the detent snaps.. You have to pull the console to reach most of the items mounted on it..
The fog lights were optional on the 328 & Mondial 3200 On my friends 328 they are daylight passing lights On my Mondial I have the fog light option They are switched on/off on the console and the passing function does not work anymore If you can switch them on it means the switch is working Pressing the switch again should turn them off Check the relay
