Somehow, I dont think what he was doing is helping the situation!

 

Someone translated it, and actually, he was trying to get some piece of metal out of the way, so that he could open the door, and go have the car fixed in Germany. And paint it white and blue.

 

Is that too much money or not enough brains? If he really wanted to get to the drivers seat he could have crawled from the back or from the passenger side.

 

What do you think the repair shop said when he brought it in?

Unless I miss my guess, if I did that to the 348, Tom would never let it off, (Or me back on!!!) the Sport Auto lot !!!!

 

While the guy is undoubtedly a mental midget, whats so messed up about what he's doing? The car is damaged and the metal is preventing the door from opening. He is bending the metal out of the way so he can open the door. The door and front fender are already damaged and will need replaced - so why not pry it out of the way? Would it be better to call a tow truck and go wait for a bus? I imagine most Mayback owners have enough $$ and time is their most important asset, so the guy probably doesn't care about any additional $$ he incurs and just needs to get into his damn car.

 

Well...you can't blame him for trying.

 

I found out that was in Romania. The Maybach got hit by a truck. I didnt get all the information.

The guy used to be a shepherd before he got rich from shady dealings, so there's nothing surprising about his... manners.

He was (lightly, i guess) hit by a truck, but the exact circumstances of the accident are not exactly known.
Him and his maybach are (in)famous around here, unfortunately. Money+media whoring=me trying to ignore his existence

Well, it's what, a $400k car? The guy probably doesn't give a crap if he further damages the panels that are already going to have to be replaced. He definitely has "FU" money, and them some! Its like the time I got in an accident in my Corvette when I was younger - the bumber was pushed against the wheels and was cracked up. I knew it was gonna be replaced, so I kicked that mofo until the piece that was rubbing broke off. I didnt care. Had there been a video, some guys on some foreign car board would be laughing about the stupid American and how he didnt care that he damaged his car!

It looked like conspicuous consumption to me, not about getting in and out of a vehicle. Two camera men (one for stills) and an opening shot of our mechanical hero leaving his home, ready for some aerobic door opening......
