How do you gain access to clean the inside of the tach and speedo lenses??

    Sorry for this duplicate question. I thought the original title wasn't specific enough as to what this was about, hence the new title.

    While my dash is apart, I thought I would clean the inside of the plastic lenses for the gauges. To do this for the speedometer and tachometer you have to remove the small odometer and dimmer knobs respectively. I don't want to force or break anything so I thought I would ask if any of you have already done this and can tell me what I need to do to remove them. Do they just pull out? Do they unscrew counterclockwise? Do both remove the same way? What?

    On my 348 they just pull outwards to remove.

    Thanks Paul. I'm pretty sure the 348 and 355 are the same. Do they both just pull straight out? I tried to pull on mine a little before your response but they didn't budge. I wasn't pulling very hard for fear of breaking them. When you pulled yours out, did it take a pretty good pull? I'm still a little nervous about this.
