    so my radar detector has a button on the cig lighter power source (center console seems to be the only place to take the power for F12?) to silence the warning beeps in case of a false alarm. it's pain to open center console lid everytime there is a false alarm. is there another way to take power from the car so I can press the silence button more ergonomically? I wasn't going to do full laser shifter and built-in detector route, but if that's the only option, I would appreciate some pictures of your install & brand suggestions. thanks in advance!

    I put in a escort 3500ci w laser shifters front and rear. The control is in the front flip center console storage and the screen is mounted above mirror. For the muting. They have a accessory button which is placed underneath the transmission bridge and I just press it twice. Very unnoticeable. Since they were running all this which connects to a fuse.

    I had them install front and rear 4K camera(great for track) w battery backup.the green light w switches- are settings for recording. BlackVue

    excellent. is that the camera behind the rear view mirror? why not just mount it to the front bumper? I haven't thought about doing cameras actually, but it's a great idea. I have been wanting to add GPS tracker too. where did you take the power from? I noticed the fuse box behind the passenger foot rest has couple empty fuse spaces but wasn't sure if there's ready-wire behind the fuse holder or not.

    do you have more picture of the escort 3500ci controls & mute button? does it kill brake light automatically when laser shifter is on? thanks.

    I can post sometime tomorrow. I had a shop install so I don’t know all the details but yes the power cam from fuses in footwell. I think the cig lighter fuse. I did not have a brake light cancel when laser shifting. I think it would be hard to program or wire.

    the cameras are inside the car in front of rear view mirror so it is not obstructive. The rear is up high by rear brake lights.

    thr black Vue camera and the radar has gps. So when I review video on track or hwy. you see the road and speed. A little incriminating. But it’s viewed on the phone e app.

    The button is hidden on the underside of the transmission bridge where it says P AUTO R or PS.


    I just push up twice to mute on bottom
