How do you know what exhaust is installed on the car?

Stupid question alert ! Is the exhaust brand logo is stamped somewhere ? I have bought my 2007 with a custom exhaust I was told… sounds great and I do have the original exhaust stored, but wanted to make sure what type is it? Tried to look in the usual places but nothing. Mechanic think it is novatec ( not sure of the spelling) but I don’t really know for sure … remote is one of those general type
Any suggestions?
