Any of you ever been in an Enzo? the rear view from the drivers seat is somewhat restrictive... it can be a tough thing to see out of.

After all i see people every day who can't parallel park a hyundai. Mind you if i was trying to park and that schmuck with the vid cam was there it would be tempting to run over his feet just to make the point that HEY I'M DRIVING HERE!!! GET OFF THE FREEKIN ROAD!!!

HAHA...yea but i think parking in a $1 million car is slightly more nerve racking. I know it would be for me.

I think I'd be more concerned about leaving a $600,000+ car parked on the street. Material possetions have a way of owning you, rather than the other way around.

i've always been a big advocate of backing in wherever i park... The last few months, i've been backing into parking spaces without turning my head around... i've been backing solely by using my side mirrors and occasionally my rearview, overhead... i guess this is some sort of subconscious practice for when i get an NNO...

NNO, I'm totally with you on that one......although I'm not as extreme as I used to be, I find that backing into spaces when a lot is crowded is very valuable when leaving....

I can parallel park in most spaces with mirrors alone...it's a good skill. There's a learning curve to do all of this, but pays for itself eventually. Like when you get a mid-engined Lamborghini with crappy visibility!

Us NYers can attest to the importance of parallel parking skills!

A shout out to the fellow NY area f-chatters.

...especially on a busy one way street where you're holding up traffic until you get into your spot. Get it right the first time, or else!

Extremely valuable, saves time and, as Jim said, it's always good to do in case a quick getaway is required... :)
Oh yeah, it pays for itself... Like when i scraped the entire side of my Aunt's Lexus SUV on the side of her garage, trying to back that behemoth in...! LOL, my uncle was none too happy... But now, i can practically back in with my eyes closed... Driving backwards on roads, late at night, when no one's around is also fun and actually helps... It hurts your neck, though... :)
LOL, um, i can't sympathize with you on that... yet.
Um, yes. Ever heard of trying to get 10 pounds of **** into a 5 pound bag...? Welcome to NY parking lots...

how would i park my enzo? In first gear i would pull right back into the pits, then put it in neutral turn it off, inspect it, and get it back where it belongs on the track getting rock chips. ITS JUST A FREAKING CAR! it was designed as a race car and people are worried about giving it gas, getting it dirty, scratching it, squeeling the tires....**** sell it to someone who will USE it for what it was designed for :(
