    I recently just started a business that is growing fast and furious how do I protect my name and logo? With a trademark, service mark or copyright? And also what is the most painless way to accomplish this?

    Your trademark needs to be new and unique within your industry.

    You'll probably have a better chance if you hire a patent attorney, but it can be done by submitting your own application with the PTO.

    I'm no expert but I believe it is based on the first commercial use of the name or logo, not who first applied to the PTO.
    So gather some evidence of the first time you used it, such as on a website, in an ad, or a printed brochure.

    We started a stroller rental company that provides high end strollers to vacationing families in the Disney World /Central Florida area.

    We were somewhat surprised with how quickly it has grown. It has been cool to watch from concept to creation to a fully functional company
