I've searched the site but couldn't find a step by step approach to removing the rear window on a 328 GTS. Can someone tell me how this is done...without breaking the glass? ;) I was just going to see what I could do by tinkering with it, but after seeing how much a replacement glass would COST the pucker factor has gone to 10! ;) Does the glass remove toward the interior of the car, or out towards/over the engine?

If its anything like my 79 308, its mounted in rubber rather than glued in like a 77 with steel trim surrounding it. You simply push the window out from the inside while folding the rubber lip over the steel pinch weld. Installation is harder but you use the rope method. Ill be posting pics of the installation proceedure soon in my resto thread.

Yes, there's no glues. It appears to be in just like the quarter windows, which just pulled right out.

Should I start in a corner on the window, or the center?
