Ok I am sure this is a common question. I have some sticky controls in my 360 and would like to know how to straighten these out without replacing them. This car is a convertible so the sun has taken more of a toll on it than a coupe. The outside of the car looks great and would like the interior to match. Thanks for any ideas or solutions! Oh and I would like to do it myself vs sending everything out and being without controls for a period of time.

Yeah I heard about that place and that they do a great job. I was hoping to find a way to do it myself at home without disassembling the interior. I figure the less I have to take apart the less chance of something breaking! Thanks for your help.

I guess glue remover or paint stripper might work too. Do you then just leave the natural finish after the residue is removed?

Take the switches out & apart- use alcohol to remove the coating... No need to refinish when done the natural black plastic looks fine.

Installation is the reverse of removal... ;)

Actually with patience & small screwdrivers, as well as torx & other assorted screwdrivers you can remove about anything... The window switches are really easy to "unsnap" apart, just do not be an animal & you will succeed... Once you have them apart you can remove all the residue in minutes.. Remember it will look like HELL before it looks perfect :)

The 360 is a really user friendly car to take apart... just take your time & it will all make sense..

Also while you are in there make sure all your lamps for illumination are functioning, great time to replace faulty ones..
