How do you take a part the Handbrake cover?

    Brothers, here we go again, I am having fun taking a part the 348 and build some carbon fober parts, the question is :How do you remove the handbrake cover? i saw 4 little screws, but how do you remove the black lever for the back trunk? I making a cover in carbon fiber.
    THank you All..............but I know that Pap has the answer...........eheheh

    Well on the 355 you lift the lever and under it you will see a screw :). So you will have to hold the lever open to to unscrew it....wow, I thought pap knew everything too :D

    Yeap there is a screw under the lever, but the problem is HOW you take the lever OUT of the frame that cover the Handbrake. I took all the screws out, np, but now, the cable connected to the lever is keeping everything in position, my question was, how do you remove cable and Lever from the frame in order to take all the cover out of the car.
    Pap, I knew!!!!!!!!! just knew that you will come up with some Ideas!!! LOL
    I will have to come to Mount isa someday to ride with you!!

    Pap is unavailable to post on this due to prior engagements.....so I will :D

    Loosen the cable under the car, there are jam nuts under the drivers side just forward of the wheel. You can see it if you jack the right side and look! :) I think the lever comes out with the cover after that....?

    Do you think that to remove the little lever i have to loose the cable and JACK the car?? that is......%#$%@#^@&*@(!))@)#_).............Thank you Speed!! I will go to the garage and see if it will work.............but I think that must be something different that I can do....to release the little lever..............we need the EXPERTS.................where they tonight?? LOL

    Oh I thought you were talking the brake lever would not come out..... The little lever for the trunk. I think you can just pull it then twist it down into the hole....;p

    Sure I will take pics, but for the moment is NOT coming!! grrrrrrrrrrrr.............why they did the hole sooo small??

    You have to loosen the mount for the wires in the back trunk, then you take the brake lever out.

    Yo uaright, but I was able to do it without loose the wires in the trunk, actually if you are very carefull you can push down like speed said and........is is done now.
    Twist , turn and push down .
