How do you think a non F- person would rate these...

    I saw a 355B today and couldn't help but think that it still looked damn good and modern. If you took someone who didn't know much about F-s, ie. a significant other, friend, parents etc and line up the models below and told them to rate the cars in order from the most recent model to the oldest (Judging by exterior only), I wonder what the general consensus would be..

    355B, 360 or 430, 550 or 575, 456, 612

    I think...
    360 then 355 then 550 then 612 then 456??

    I also think that is the way they would rate the cars from most expensive to least expensive as well.

    What do you think?

    Most of my friends know zilch about Ferrari's, except that they're the cars with the prancing horse on them. However, if I had to guess, I think most people would say retractable headlights date a car, while the curved lenses of the 430/360/etc. are more modern.

    That said, I agree with you that the 355 still looks perfect. (And I admit I still feel cool in an '80s kind of way when I raise the lights on my 328...)

    Oh sh- I forgot to add the testarossa. I definitely think people would say that was the oldest one out of the bunch largely due to it's 80's Miami Vice popularity.

    Totally agree with the retractable light comment. Wonder if any 355 owner changed out the retractables? That might look pretty cool.
