I have the slowest numbers for sure

1997 Explorer XLT 4.0 SOHC - 105mph still had a bit more to offer (limiter)
    2000 F-250 7.3L Turbo Diesel - around 93mph still pulling (limited)
    2000 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro - 130mph
    2000 BMW 750il - 155mph (limited)
2006 Range Rover Sport - about 100mph could have gone a lot faster

In my miata I would max it out every now and then. For the last year I drove it the speedo cable was messed up so it would bounce between 100 and 120. When it worked ok it would usually hit 110 indicated. I have no clue if the car actually went that fast.

In the C class I think I hit 130 once.

I tried to max out the Jag the day I bought it I got it up to 130 or 140.

I keep reading that the speedos get inaccurate at those speeds so theres no telling how fast I was really going.

I drive the Jag between 90 and 100 a lot. I drove at 100 with 4 sheriff deputies behind me for a while before I knew they were there. I think that was the most "exciting" time. They had something better to do and went around me whenwe all got off the interstate.

This decade I went as fast as 140 in a car.

Fastest I've ever traveled was in the Concorde. Went New York to London and back on B.A. . .a little over mach 2. Also, New York to Paris on Air France, probably about the same speed.

Not very fast in autos. . .An old 1973 modded Camaro, about 135, years ago.

    I suck.
120-ish in a car, roads are terrible around here, so driving fast is a rare treat.
130 on VMax4 snowmobile ... trails are smooth around here, so you can hold those speeds until the gas tank is empty (which is about 2,3 seconds)
0.001 on water, some boat thing on a lake ... enjoyed the scenery a lot, thought boating was awful.
