Hi My english is not very well - sorry for that. How i can find out (on the web maybe?) what was the original color of my Mondial Cabriolet by delivery? is there a possibility online with the VIN? Any other Ideas? Im almost sure, that my Mondial was white instead off red as it is now. Thanks for helping
Hey, if your car has been spotted by a VIN spotter, then its colour can be found in the F-Register database: Home | F-Register You need to sign up, or if you can give me the VIN, I'll look it up for you
Not for non-UK cars. The best bet is to ask your local Ferrari dealer or email Ferrari directly. Jonathan
HI There Thank you so mutch for your answer. I have consult allready f-register.com with no results about my VIN. I have also a book where all VINs are registered from 1947 - 2007 but also nothing found. My VIN is 59089 but nothing found - strange? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is because your car hasn't been "spotted" yet by these people. I haven't found it in the F-Register DB either. Best is to contact the Ferrari importer in Switzerland
Ok, i see i have no other chance to find it out online. so i have to contact a official local dealer here in switzerland - too bad
No you can try registering as an owner at Official Ferrari website and it used to be that if you log your car in My Ferraris after some weeks or months the original color suddenly appears
Thank you, i was allready registered a few years ago, that's why i know, that my car was white before. after 7 years of my registration i was wondering if i have allready access. the webpage has complete change in the past years, i have found the login but i see only my registered cars but no additional information like 7 years ago as you can see on the attached image Image Unavailable, Please Login
If not taken away or changed. Open the trunk lid and on your right should be a sticker mentioning a color. Hope it is a different color then your Mondial is at the moment and if is it is highly likely that was the original color. A different check on the body is to popup the light pods and screw of the black panel maby even take out one of the lights to have a look in the back what color it was. If it is painted the same color as now take sanding paper and sand a spot on the inside when a different color appears. This is the best area to determine the real color. All the best, Tijn
Car is currently Rosso Corsa with Beige int. and has a Nero top. Was finally spotted in November of 2013. The rims have been aftermarket then and it looks like it wears vinyl sticker shields. When I "registered" my car with the owner side I remember the few data given included the orginal colour. Best Matthias Urban one of "these people"
PS: if you share the complete VIN (car looks like a Euro or Swiss spec. car, what would make it ZFFLC15B000059089 or ZFFLC15S000059089) with me I might be able to provide you with delivery colour and some additonal details. PM would be best, if you are interessted.
another PS: I've noticed the VIN from the picture with my Book, it's indeed ZFFLC15S000059089, I will try to find out...
Hi Matthias You got an answer, and you made my day! Thanks a lot for your assistance, and please wirght me back - many, many Thanks!

Love the white. I almost bought a white t cab before I found my car. I think the white looks fantastic !
You certainly dont mess around .. thats quick work in preparing the car . Looking forward to seeing the end result . Well done .
Your right, we don't mess around. i dont know how you call that in englisch, but this is not the color, this ist the "paint filler" after that we have to grind the whole car, then we start with the painting
Hello, I've been reading this past post and was amazed at how these chats can find info that seems to be hidden from clear site. I have a similar issue to @Mondial_Swwitzerland. I have a 1982 400i GT manual. The car is currently in Rosso Corsa over Beige. I checked F Register with the VIN number and Rosso Corsa/Beige was the result. Does this mean the car came off the factory floor in this color? OR was this the last color that the car was spotted in and entered into their database? The VIN for the car is ZFFEB07B0000 41909. Any help would be great, especially from "those guys" who seem to have some secret telephone line with Ferrari.
Hello, that would mean your car was spotted in that colour combination by "those guys" (I love this ). By no means it would mean it was original that way, unless you or a previous owner confirmed this to one of "these guys" being original (invoice, other colour found under the R/C, etc..). Best from "one of them" LOL... man, sounds like a line from Men In Black Jurgen
