How is the A/C in the 612?

The AC in my 612 works great, gets the car cold pretty quickly. I have never driven the QP, so I don't know how it would compare ride wise. The transmission is much smoother than the Maserati coupe I tried and shifts much quicker. 612 is just a fantasic car.

 

i'd have to second that: AC in my 612 blows really nice and cold...and it's an amazing car...

completely opposite the sauna which was the 456...

get the 612; you'll never ever regret it!

I've had my 612 for two years now and have had a QP as a loan car when the 612 went in for its last service.

The air-con in the 612 is great in my opinion, it gets cold quickly and is plenty powerful enough to deal with even the hottest days.

As far as the ride of course the 612 is harder than the QP, although personally I think that considering that this is a 200 mph supercar it's surprisingly good, especially once you get above 30 mph. As for road noise I would say the QP was quieter.

I thought the 612 was going to be just as quiet on the highway, because I'd like to drive cross country to LA this summer.

 

The QP and 612 have almost nothing in common, I'm surprised you'd expect it to be as quiet. I've done several long hauls in it and have never been bothered by 'noise' but it's simply not as quiet as the 'luxury sedan' that is the QP.

 

I would suggest a 3M clear bra before doing so

 

We've actually had some problems with the AC. The air comes out hot unless it is in LOW and the auto never changes, it seems to stay on a constant slow fan speed. Getting a service soon.
