Title says it all. If you have a 612 with the Bose stereo/navi system, how is your radio reception? Mine seems to be really awful. Bad enough that I expect something is amiss. On my other car I can pick up dozens and dozens of stations as I live near a rather large city. On the 612 I can pick up a few, but not very clearly. One the setting for "find strong stations" it shows nothing. The other functions for the radio seem to work fine. Any advice on how to proceed?

Also, for bonus internet points, can someone tell me if this stereo is like other Bose products that have a weird lack of bass, or is my subwoofer also defective? Things sound rather trebly though the radio and rather reminiscent of an old Bose radio I had where Bose engineers insisted in advertisements that this is what music sounds like and I have been hearing it wrong all my life, and then I decided that I like the wrong way much better.

I face the same challenge trying to tune to FM radio. Low reception.

I was thinking my 612's receptor or antenna was effective.

    1) Reception not great
    2) Hold down the Media Button to access menu to adjust bass/treble etc
    3) ITS A V12 FERRARI- TURN YOUR RADIO OFF AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC!!

I've never noticed a problem with mine. Seems as good as any other car.

I have not used my FM for years. I recall it was not great. However, my work around was to use my satellite radio link (it came free for life on my 07), my iPod music, and, more recently, Amazon music. As long as you have a good source the sub woofer base works well. If you cannot access any radio links you could also test it by playing a CD that you know has a lot of base.
