Any recent Private Pilots that have received their permanent Private Pilot Certificates?

Approximately how long did it take from the check-ride?

The temporary is good for 120 days and the FAA website states that they are currently working on Certificates for August 25th.

Passed my check-ride on September 21, so my temporary is good into January. Should I expect my permanent before then or is the FAA backed-up / slow?

Could not say how backed up they are now... but when I got my Private back in 2003, it took about 60 days to get my license.

Even back then, they told me not to expect anything before 120 days.

    FYI: received my license today.

    Pretty quick turn-around!
