Downloaded the F50 owner's manual and read the procedure of removing the roof (top), wow, seems a real PITA! If you're driving and there's a sudden change in weather, is it even feasible to put the top back on? The worse top I've ever encountered is the one on the Lotus Elise, phew. Btw. thanks for the PDF files Timothy! (TestShootCom) // Peter
If ur driving barchetta mode , the hard top will most likely be at home ..and u will only have the soft top with you ( in the front trunk ?? ) ..i think it takes 20 minutes to put it on ..and around 40mns/1 h to put the hard top back .
Thanks for the clarification! I didn't know there was a soft top and a hardtop, I thought it was one-in-all... // Peter
ROTFLMAO! that's 100% useless. very amusing. and here we thought the 550 Barchetta top was a joke - it doesn't come close! doody.
Come on..20 minutes isnt that long..im sure that after several rainstorms , the average F50 owner will manage to do it in 10mns

The conversion from soft top hardware (with roll hoops, etc.) to hard top, and visa-versa, takes only about 20 minutes or so. Less time with a helper. Installation of just the soft top, once the hardware is in place, takes one minute. Best regards, Rob Schermerhorn
