Now it's back to the way it was, like it never happened. Curious minds would like to know why this was done. SOMEONE CARE TO EXPLAIN?!?!
Sir Huber, I enjoy your posts (that's what she said!), and as such, I'm pleased to assure you there is no hacking. Before clicking the link, note the Topic is # 25944, this is page 1, which has a limit of 20 posts per page. Here is the thread with your post. Scroll down to #19 http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25944&page=1&pp=20 Before clicking the link, note the post # is 134325219, which is the 19th post on the thread to which it is replying. Neither the Topic number, nor the number of posts per page are listed. Here is your post. No need to scroll down or see other posts. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134325219&postcount=19 Given your concern, which is very much warranted, given the gravity one faces with these perilous times of hacking through this wondrous mess of wires, glass and plastic, I would be remiss to not address your concerns in anything less than an entirely too wordy reply. Other than clicking on a post# in the upper right corner of any post, in order to quote without quoting, as it were, there is no trickery involved. It allows one to see and refer to any given post, including images, which are not visible when quoting. That, aside from cross-referencing to specific threads or parts thereof, is the primary reason to do this type of link, rather than quote and indicate one should scroll to a specified link. I remain unperturbed, as I can understand the confusion or bewilderment one must sense when seeing one's own post framed, as it were in a gallery, rather than flipping through an album of sorts. When all is said/understood/done/under the bridge... have a good laugh and a tall, cold one. _____ Edit: Check it out - there's two threads about 10,000 posts. First thread, you started. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25844 Second thread, you replied. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25944 Oddly enough, they're exactly 100 threads apart! If that's where the confusion lies, then that's that.
