I have everything from new. Do not remember the first but about 60K in R&M over the years.
I'm the second owner, but the first was a real gentleman. He gave me everything he had including old registrations and even the bill from Exxon replacing the battery with the wrong type. I believe the first bill was for a new directional relay the first month. Many of the dealer bills are illegible....that is except for the amount due As a weekend mechanic, I'm including all my receipts to the collection too.
In 24 years I know of only one couple that still has (an 84 308 euro) from new. They live here in Birmingham. I did know a second family in Huntsville but I just found out they sold it last summer. It was an 81. So just one now
Not sure if this counts, but my 328 has been in our family since new. My Father bought it and I kind of grew up with it (washing, detailing it, and going for rides...then eventually drives), now I have the car. I think of myself as its caretaker until the next generation is ready. Best regards, Dino
Same here ,my Father bought it new and now I am lucky enough to have it now. Sure it counts its still in the faimly.
I ordered my 308 GTSi in July of 1980 and took delivery in February of 1981. I have every piece of paper that was generated regarding my car. In 26 years of ownership, the only major part that was replaced was the water pump. The car is absolutely flawless! My problem now, is that I am getting to old to drive her, she really is a young mans car. It will just take the right person to continue to maintain and pamper the "Queen". Anyone interested?
