Of 801 built, maybe 500 remain as viable cars? A lot of these big beasts suffered from terminal deferred maintenance. The 4.4 liter tipo 245 motor is desirable, but the Queen Mothers do not seem to be used for replica fodder as much as the GTE and the 330GTs, even though the wheelbase of the QM is the same as the 330GT.

I once intended to start the registry of the 365 GT 2+2S AND HAVE OVER 300 LISTED. I have not distributed the list which was handed down to me and I have added every sn I see and read about in all the major publications.
I found a few new cars this month at the FCA Pasadena Concourso and via Sports Car Market magazine. Queen Mothers were generally not raced which may also have added to their current numbers.
My old car 11727 was used a few years in the Virginia City Hillclimb by John O'Boyle until in protest she put her #10 piston into the Oil pan. but she was rebuilt by Bob Wallace and Bill Bowdich in Arizona.

If you are going to keep her for a long time I suggest you join F.Chat and post a photo or two of your Queen and her details.

I just bought s/n 12015. I'm 52 and will be keeping mine as long as I am on the right side of the grass.

I have had mine since 2005, intend to keep it a long, long, long time. Best riding car I ever owned, including modern BMWs and a Range Rover. Also sounds the best when driving, too!

There is a restored one at FoQ . It is not in its original colors and is currently red/tan.
It is the only one I know of in North America.
They seem to be difficult to find these days. In my humble opinion they are one of the last Enzo era bargains.

I have no affiliation with this dealer.

    Friends,

I am getting older, so I am looking for a car in platinum condition, with all books and tools. I am curious as to what you all think the correct price is for a car in this condition. I have looked at pictures of the car in Montreal and it looks OK but having spent 20 years getting my car all its parts, I really dont want to to that all over again. I also want a car that has been not only taken care of but loved and a car that has been loved will have all this stuff.....

I think the correct price would currently be between 150k and 200k for what you are looking for. The problem right now is that they are scarce in any condition. It is hard to pry the loved ones away from their owners.

There is a thread in the Boxer section which lists all of the FChat Boxer owners, and their cars. It might be fun to do something like that here.

Well whatever happens happens, to me this would be one of the cars I would like, one that is loved. Unfortunately cars pass on sooner or later hopefully if things work out I can find the right one.

BTW seen too many unloved Ferraris almost as sad as those aspca commercials on after 11pm....

My 17 year old daughter thinks my Queen is one of the coolest cars on the planet. She especially loves the sound. Great to know the younger generation appreciates Enzo's work from the 60's and early 70's! JRF

Probably the last vintage Enzo era bargain available.
