This may sound vague but to help out the numbers. I've had the pleasure to work and service about 20 or so Challenge Stradales, all accounted for. Over half are already mentioned on the list [Thanks SoCal CS owners/friends] Some are not on F-Chat/Ferrari Forums, nor a fan with the Ferrari community/clubs/events/etc.. oh well...
Awesome list!!! How many of these are included in the 14 or so that are listed for sale in various places?
Did y'all ever count that guy Paulo? He says he has one. Here is his thread. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68880
21 Year old, Challenge Stradale (Miguel) plans on keeping his CS even after he receives his new F430 Spider. So that one is not for sale.
I would say he meant 378 in the USA - as total worldwide production is over 1000 from what I've read/heard.
OK, here we go: 1. I meant worldwide because that's what Cavallino publishes. 2. The number seems wrong (low) to me as well, but it was revised 2 months ago. 3. It's hard for me to believe that approximately 10% of the world's CS are currently for sale, but that is about the number now available. 4. It's not hard for me to believe that approximately 15% of the world's CS are represented here on FerrariChat since it is a true enthusiasts car. 5. Im not going to be the guy who claims to now more about Ferrari than Keith Bluemel who compiles the Cavallino database. 6. I sent an e-mail to Ferrari last night and will post to the owners discussion board today. Given that it is August in Italy, if they ever reply it will likely be next month. Cheers.
Here's one older thread with production numbers. If less than 400 were built, I'll buy another one: http://70.85.40.84/~ferrari/forum/showthread.php?t=41688&highlight=stradale+production+number a second thread: http://70.85.40.84/~ferrari/forum/showthread.php?t=62256&highlight=360+production+numbers quote: Mr. Giuseppe Bonollo, the director of product stragety at Ferrari, recently gave out the statistics- Total 360's produced over 5 years-17,500 Coupes Total - 10,000 Standard Coupes - 8,500 Challenge Stradales- 1,200 Race Cars - 300 Spiders - 7,500
Hope I'm not being rude, but, what would you estimate the residual value of a 2004 Stradale to be? When I say residual value, I mean what a lease company would calculate from. I'd also be interested in what you think an actual value would be. Estimate at these dates and miles: Sept '08 w/ 30k mi Sept '08 w/ 20k mi Sept '08 w/ 15k mi Sept '09 w/ 30k mi Sept '09 w/ 20k mi Are there or will there be any available in the US with 10k-20k miles now or shortly. I currently have a GT2 and find it hard to switch to anything else other than the Stradale. I am thinking of going with a shortstop of a 550, but not sure how happy I'd be. It's a nice car, BUT ..... I'm really trying to figure this out Thanks G You can send PM's or email if you don't want to corrupt this thread.
I think the person he has listed is the person I told him about. Miguel (Challenge Stradale) from San Antonio, TX. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=16955
Corsa with stripe (09/04) - even though its in my profile, I don't appear on the search of members for some reason.
Wow! Guess you're right. Thanks ! Then please count me in to. "Challenge_Stradale" (with the underscore.) July 04 build Rosso Scuderia All Black Alcantara Interior w/ red stitching & red cavallinos stitched in seat back) Rosso Scuderia calipers Hi-fi Fire Ext.
Hi, my name is Marco, I'am from Italy! Add me to the list: i have blue cs, with beige interiors Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's one response from Ferrari: "Dear Mr Kaller, Thank you for contacting us. As regards your request, we would like to inform you that 353 Challenge Stradale US Version were produced. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our best regards, Ferrari Customer Care" So, the Cavallino # appears incorrect and does not represent world-wide production, and Ferrari did not answer both of my questions....... More e-mails to Ferrari and one to Cavallino..... The truth is out there.
i'd like to add one in grigio alloy with a dark blue alcantara interior; picked up in maranello and now in LA. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
please tell us why the standard 360 grills are in and not the stradale ones. i think the stradale ones are better.thanks
i ordered the car with the regular grille. although split in two, it's what ferraris had for a long time. the horizontal lines help 'grounding' the car a bit - just my preference, after all.
