^ LOL. I'm similar. I've only ever driven one Ferrari. The day I picked it up 9 months ago was the first time I'd ever driven a Ferrari. As my wife said: if Paris Hilton can drive a Cali, so can you! I've posted this elsewhere, but still my favorite pic. T

308 QV (my old car) Mondial 3.2 (my new car) 308 Carb'd (test drive) GT4 early (240 hp) Only the "old" stuff/cheap stuff. Would love to drive a Testarossa, 87+ up to a 512TR. There is, or at least used to be, at least one F40 in CO. A few have passed thru, not sure of current status. LOL, I think you, Dave Helms and a few others should be excluded... A LONG time ago, Dave mentioned a few F40 "stories". James in Denver

Only 2, rented a 458 before buying a 430. Actually only ever sat in 2 ferrari ever, and it was the same two.
I am not trying to hijack this thread.... but somebody should start a thread asking how many Ferrari cars you have driven over 120 MPH - my number would be 4 - or maybe just add that info into this thread
Interesting thread, I hope I can add more in the future. I was sold on buying one from about the time I could walk. It only took one car to car swap at a cars and coffee to convince my wife. It was happy hunting from that point on. I bought my first Ferrari 5 months later. 1) 360 Challenge Stradale 2) F430 3) 360 Modena (mine) 4) California 5) 458 Italia With an extra credit ride in an FF.
Only lucky enough to drive 1 so far. An F430 Hoping to double that in the next few weeks and get my 308 on the road. If it weren't for the "while I'm here" jobs, I'd probably have done it already! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wonder how many of his cars Enzo Ferrari himself drove? I mean, he was the boss, right? He could drive anything he wanted! Or would he be, "I can't be bothered!"?
Enzo usually drove either a Peugeot or a Mini and in later years was driven in a Fiat Chroma, or Lancia Thema. when he drove a Ferrari in the 50's and 60's he usually went for the 2+2 cars. There is some footage of him driving a Ferrari 250GTE and some pictures of him in a 250 SWB, as well as driving a PF coupe. in the mid 60's he'd drive a 330, and occasionally a 330gtc but that was pretty rare by the late 60's. The combination of him getting older, and the threats against "industrialist" by the communists in Italy made him drive in a non descript car, and usually by Pepino Verdelli & a body guard. There are a couple of stories of people who drove with him, and stated that he was smooth, and aggressive, very quick, and usually did not pay much attention to road signs. there is one story of him driving his mini with the new driver / body guard, and at one point Ferrari goes to pass a large truck, but clips the bumper, and drags the bumper from Formagione to the Maranello factory ... gets out and looks at the car, and say's - can you believe that guy almost hit me! ... then told the body guard to get the car fixed by lunch. in the late 60's and early 70's Ferrari would be out drinking and chasing girls... and usually would be a bit tipsy so he had a driver... who was "discreet" that was usually Pepino. he did give his Son Dino a Ferrari, but by that time he was not able to drive much. I forget the model, it was a mid 50's racing / road car. based on a TDF? I think.
Hmm.. over 120MPH... Testarossa 308GTB qv F-40 348GTC FF 458 512 BB all were on a race track.... except for the TR and 308 & FF... but not saying where....
308 gt4 308 Vetro 400i 328 Testarossa 355 I have hit 120 in four of them A short list but do I get a half point for owning a Lancia Thema 8.32 in the past....
good question, I haven't driven as many as people would think. I turn down offers to drive personal cars all the time, not a fan of driving other peoples cars and the dealer in past has never involved me much for drives. the exception is Enver for a couple years, who moved from Boardwalk to San Antonio. 250 Lusso 308 GT4 308 GTSi 328 GTS 348 ts 355 Challenge 430 Scud Cali 30 TR 550 599
