how many dinos going to concorso italiano in monterrey?

No I'm not going.

But I hope who ever does posts a million pictures in this thread during/after the event!

 

My Dino is staying home for this one too. I will be at Avila Beach, CA concorso Oct 26th.
Much closer to home and less hectic. www.avilabeachconcours.com.. Monterrey is a bit overwhelming. I'm not sure about the move to the airport and inclusion of planes.

 

I took mine in '05 and '06, but my wife got "a taste" of the Quail in '07; we're going to the latter again this year, which, as usual, is in direct conflict with the Concorso (both are always on Friday that week). When and until one or the other of these shows moves to a different day, seems like I'll have an ongoing problem getting back to the Concorso.

I remember driving with you for a spell a couple of years back. I have a yellow GTS. Unfortunately, I won't be making the drive this year. My car has been in the body shop for longer than I can remember. I called the shop last week and they said all the painters in the area are backlogged because of Monterey. My car was supposed to go into the booth this week.

I'm actually not in any hurry because I don't have garage space for my car. After a remodel that took way too long overlapping into the birth of my son, my garage is full of boxes and I don't have time to deal with it. I never would have expected being a father would be so much fun...and so tiring. I told myself before my son was born that I would write off the first year. Stay at home.

Anyways, have a safe and fun drive. Maybe next year.
