    Hello,

Does anyone have a count on the number of super cars in these two states. I heard that Utah and Colorado only have an enzo each where they used to have multiple. Is this true? Thanks

Dave Helms would be the man to ask, but dont be surprised if he responds something like "alot more than you think" to protect the anonimity of the owners.

I'm sure there are a TON more "supercars" here in Colorado than are seen (except at shows or brief glances when taken out for a sunday drive). DDemuro's famous thread about the Veyron here in Colorado points this out, by none-other than Ralph Lauren himself.

Dave would know who owns many of the Ferrari's here, if not all, then MOST!

PS I've seen the Black Enzo once, but there is supposedly 1 more. At some point, 3 959s (never seen one) and various other vintage FCars (mentioned in prior threads).

I just saw a thread the other day of a gathering in suburban Denver with pictures of a red Enzo and a red F40. I know the Enzo had Montana plates but was said to reside in the Denver Metro and the F40 had Colorado plates.

    Hope this helps a bit.

I personally know of 1 288 GTO, 1 F40, 0 F50, and 3 Enzo in Colorado. Undoubtedly there are more than these.

The 288 GTO, which is red, lives in Denver. To my knowledge, it's not driven too much, but it was exhibited at Automezzi on June 3rd, 2006 (and driven to and from the event). Here is a thread on F-chat with some photos of the vehicle at home, and here is a photo of it from Automezzi. Typically, I believe the vehicle is on dealer plates, but at Automezzi it had Colorado Grand plates.

The F40 I'm aware of does not seem to be driven too much either, but some photos of it appeared in this thread about a gathering at Dave Helms' house. That vehicle was also at Automezzi, but decidedly not being exhibited - the owner kept it in the parking lot instead, and when an announcer asked him to bring it to the event, he drove away. That vehicle is registered on private plates with the amusing license plate frame, "Another One of Tony's Toys."

I know for absolute certain of no F50s in the area, but I've heard two independent stories of F50s, at least one of which is extremely credible.

As for Enzos, the state of Colorado has three (and probably no more). One, which is red, has Montana plates and is a recent transplant to the state. I am told that it resides in the metro Denver area. That vehicle can be seen here and also here where it participated in the FCA Mystery Rally in July. Another red Enzo has Florida license plates but is frequently seen in Aspen, like this photo on ExoticSpotter. In fact, it was spotted by PhilNotHill as recently as August 27. And, we have Steve Wynn's former Enzo, which is black. This vehicle lives somewhere in either Douglas or El Paso County and is registered on private plates, the number of which is well-known on this board. The vehicle is driven often and frequently seen, including as recently as October 29, 2007 downtown. Multiple sightings of this vehicle exist in several places on the Internet including Car-Parazzi and ExoticSpotter.

These are the vehicles I know of. I'd be surprised if we had more than those Enzos and more than that 288 GTO, but there are likely more than that F40, and I'd be surprised if Colorado had no F50s.

There was an F50 originally sold to an ASpen resident and I believe he still has it. I think he also has an F40. I've forgotten the guy's name but it's no big secret.

Michael Goldberg? I thought he had 288, F40, F50 and Enzo. Here is a thread about it http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67550&highlight=Aspen+Enzo

Sorry if I wasnt supposed to post his name, but ive seen it posted here before.

I thought there where a few F40's in the Denver Metro area, even thought ive never seen one on the road. Heard rumors of an F50 (on here) but never seen it.

    The cars that I am aware of;

    288 - 2

    F40 - 3 (Edit - Make that "4")

    F50 - 1

    Enzo - 3...maybe 4

I posted about seeing THE F50 once in the spotters thread, was an unusual location and time-of-year for the spot, but it definately WAS an F50!

There is also a thread of someone (in california?) recording an F50 exhaust on video and the video showed a Colorado license plate. The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7zggK9Dwd0

There are at least 3 Enzo's, 1 f-50, 3 F-40's and 1-288 in Utah. There could be more, but these are the ones that I personally am aware of.

I maybe having a brain fart but there is the Black Enzo, located in the metro area, one Red Enzo in the metro area and one Red Enzo in Aspen. It's just that I'm pretty sure I remember at least one more Red Enzo, maybe near Vail?

There are FOR SURE 2 Enzos in the Park City, Utah area alone. A silver one, shown in the above image at Miller Motor Sports, and a Black one, shown here: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136805222&postcount=770

The Black one is currently in Florida for the first time for the winter, but it will be coming back to its permanent home here in Park City next spring. The owner drove it cross-country all the way to Naples, putting more miles on it than were there before he left.

I think it was Michael just driving round in Vail, but I could be wrong.

Not likely since it did not have Florida tags.

Well I guess that makes another one! I do know that Michael does go to Vail sometimes in it though. If only there could be more F50s:(

Geez, I remember that! I hadn't seen this article though, I like this part:

"He was videotaped in Aspen Tuesday, wearing a ski mask, orange hat, blue jumpsuit and silver moon-boots... A store employee told the Daily Record: 'I had no idea it was him, but I did think it was a bit strange for someone to be wearing that outfit.'"

    :)

What is the story with the Colorado Grand plates on the 288? The Colorado Grand is limited to pre '61 cars.

Both the previous owner and current owner participate in the Colorado Grand, maybe the plates were added for the show?

Probably, though he drove away with them on, too. The cops couldn't care less, though.

By the way, I was wrong - PhilNotHill's 8/27 Enzo spot has Colorado plates, not Florida ones, however a red Enzo spotted in Aspen on ExoticSpotter has Florida temporary plates. However they could be the same car - purchased in Florida and then registered in Colorado. I'm not sure, but I'd bet they're the same car.

The Red Aspen Enzo runs Florida plates 100% of the time.
