Lets see i dont consider Maserati's Bently Conti GT's And Aston Martins's DB9's exotics. there are tons in my area not counting the tons of MB's and BMW's let see real exotics are 2- Carrera GT's My friend just bought the New Murci a few Gallardo's around 3- MB SLR's a buch of Ferrari's mostly 550's 360's and 3- 355's conv. One car thats not an exotic but i love is a Pantera GT5S. Also a few Z8's around. Saw a Rolls Royce yest around the corner.
I know his son Uday had a 612 because there was a picture a while back with it completely burnt. And I also doubt he got an Enzo, I dont think there is a Ferrari of Baghdad to deliver it to him.
1 - mine! There's some absolutely GORGEOUS vintage American cars, though, which count for something in my mind.
Around town... (2)CGTs (2)360s (2)GT3 (1)GT2 (2)348s (1)F430 (2)Murcialago (1)512TR...maybe traded for 550 Privatley owned Garages.... (1)SLR (1)XJ220 (2)Ford GTs (1)Hennesey Viper (1)Diablo SV (1)TR (1)57 Testa Rossa (2)355s (1)456 (1)69 L88 corvette And My Dads 69 Vette Note-Some cars may have been sold, these are cars i have seen throughout my entire lifetime.
An NSX that I know of and my neighbor says there is a red Ferrari and a Panterra in the neighborhood somewhere but they don't get drivin much.
Same here, just me. There is a Triumph TR-6 in pieces in a garage and about 8 vettes, but I don't classify them as exotics.
I feel kinda bad as when I park my 360 in my space next to someones 550 I have to drive past a 430 spider to get there. Russell
is it me or are there to many exotics around these days, it's kind of taking the magic and exoticness out of them, everyone nowadays seems to have alot of money and nothing seems sacred any more not just cars, any idiot seems to be able to make money (and do).
None in my neighborhood. The only time I see any exotics is when I go down to the Buckhead/Atlanta area. There I see plenty of Ferraris and some Lambos. I have been in public accounting for two years now, working on some client files that reveal extreme amounts of wealth. I have had access to over 2000 tax files of some very rich people, and I have yet to see tag receipt/ad valorem notices that say "ferrari" on them. Some of these clients are well know ball players, and some are relatively unknown multi-millionaires with net assets in excess of 50 million dollars. I don't know of a single client that owns an exotic. I once performed a loan review at a local bank. One of the clients of the bank wanted a two different loans, one of which of for an (italian supercar) that the business would own (S-corp). The prior year bottom line was around 95k. THe payments on the (italian supercar) would total nearly 50k/year, not to include insurance. The first thing I thought was, wow, that's a stupid purchase. The loan committee approved both loans, and only one board member voted no on the car loan. That is the only time I have ever seen a board member vote no on a loan. Seems like a pretty risky purchase. What if business was a bit off the next year. The owner didn't have any real investments to speak of. He owned a house valued at 250k and it had a mortgage. Sorry if I seem to be off-topic a little. It just seems weird to me that many who could afford to purchase one, do not do so. ric
I live in the middle of nowhere and in my development of 76 homes we have four, yes 4 Ford GT's. One of the GT's is mine I also have a F430, Porsche, 1965 427 Cobra, & a Lotus Sport We have some muscle cars like a 806 HP 1986 Buick. Quick as hell but corners are scary Lee
The best and the unique 360 Spider Black I saw in my street a gt2,a gt3,360, but i dont know if this cars live in my neighborhood...
I live in a small town in Thailand, with total pop in the district is around 35,000 (down town is about 15,000). And the only exotic here are my 360 CS and my bro's 575 HGTC. Exotic is rather rare in Thailand no matter what town you are in. Bangkok has the most with hundreds of Ferrari of all type and tens of Lambo alon with hundreds of Porsches. Total pop in Bangkok is over 10 million though...ha ha. Other big cities with a few exotic in Thailand are Chiang Mai up north, Phuket down south, a few in Chonburi (industry and tourist town). The true exotic in Thailand would be a couple of F40s, one F50, one Enzo, I think one CGT, at least 3 new GTs. There are a few weird cars like rumor of a Zonda, an SLR. We do have a couple of Daytonas and Dinos. We have a couple of Countach, Uraco, Espada. There are over 30 348, over 30s 355, over 30s 360. 430s are now in tenths. testarossa+512tr+512M is no more than 20s. I don't know how many the Spyker has sold. Lamborghini Bangkok said they have sold a few LP640s and they had just officially introduced it last week here.
There is a Porsche 356 conv. that seems to be an infrequent driver on or slightly off my street. A 911S-probably 70-71- also sits on the street a block off my street gathering rust. That is discouraging as even remotely good condition is worth $20K. I hate to see that yet the $30K+ needed to make it good doesn't make sense. Strangely enough, another 1970-71 911S up the street gets weekend drives yet is always outside. We are not is a rust area but any older car exposed to the elements like this will get pretty rusty. I love Porsches and hate to see this. Otherwise, some older Aston Martins, Ferrari 246 dino and a Porsche 550 spyder reproduction drive by occassionally. If the owners of the Porsche's would take $10K for both I'd be a buyer! Maybe I should ask! Jeff
whilest not alot of exotics there are some "performance oriented vehicles" I have a Maserati coupe, a TT G35 coupe, a F360 somewhere around here, a Diablo, a GTS Viper, a Gallardo Convert, a Bentley GT, F430 and a F575. Other than that just our E55 :-(
A pair of Jaguar E-Type coupes, three Boxster 2.7's, 911 Carrera Cabriolet, & two cars I haven't seen for a while are a Ford GT40 replica & a Mazda RX-7 SP.
