I'm changing my answer to 26, and counting the 23 real races plus the 3 sprint thingies!
You're on a Ferrari thread, trashing the Ferrari drivers, and telling us the Ferrari is capable of beating Mercedes. You're a troll.
Vettel was a Ferrari diver, so was Alonso, Im not trashing them, Just because its a Ferrari thread, I cant trash their drivers ? Are you kidding me,? you are taking it way to personal Sir. I will say it again, in case you didnt know, Leclerc an Sainz, will never win a title as long as the grid is where it is, its that simple, and in case you didnt get it, I have not insulted you for your opinion, have a nice day Sir. Thank you
I think Ferrari should put Rossi on as their test driver. A long while back, VR took their F1 car and put it through its paces at Fiorano, and he did quite well .Hes back in cars this year, I will look forward to see how good he does. Thank you
IMHO, not only the Scuderia but also the entire Company has lost its way since John Elkann seized control
It's perfectly alright to criticise Ferrari drivers on Fchat, and it has been done many times. It's attacks against other participants on the forum that are not allowed.
Don't conflate criticism with trashing. Calling both Ferrari drivers weak and suggesting they are inferior, stating the Ferrari is on par with Mercedes, and trying to argue that Vettel beat Leclerc in 2018 when they weren't racing each other either amounts to trolling or a complete lack of understanding of the sport.
A lot worse has been said about Ferrari drivers and Ferrari itself on FChat over the years, believe me ! Massa, Alonso and Vettel came under a lot of criticism, and so did several Ferrari team managers for their incompetence ! Not all the tifosi don't see Ferrari through rose-tinted glasses.
Again, calling both Ferrari drivers weak and suggesting they are inferior, stating the Ferrari is on par with Mercedes, and trying to argue that Vettel beat Leclerc in 2018 when they weren't racing each other either amounts to trolling or a complete lack of understanding of the sport.
Trolling aside, we know both the drivers are capable of race wins. Testing on day one, the car looks good. I am more optimistic than previous years. However, we have to hope that Merc and Red Bull make mistakes in design
Nonsense. Vettel was pounded into the ground by both Riccardo and Leclerc when they were his teammates.
I think this years Ferrari has several race wins in it. Then again, the RB, Mercedes, and even McLaren look like possible race winners. Who's got the edge (if anyone) for a title run under the new rules is impossible to tell.
Yes, one can be more optimistic regarding Ferrari this year. It's too early to judge, but they have probably caught up with RB and MB. Then, there is McLaren to consider. And the drivers pairing is one of the best too. I only hope they won't deceive later as it previous years.
your lack of understanding, ill say it again, in 2018 , Vettel did far better than Leclerc ever did for Ferrari, in 2018 He almost won the title, Leclerc never even came close, it does not matter that he beat Vettel while at Ferrari , it makes no difference , Ferrari will never ever win the title while Lewis and Max are driving, they drive 10 times better than both Ferrari drivers put together , have a nice day. PS dont compare a 4 and 7 time world champion to either Ferrari driver, they are not even in the same class. Good grief. Mark my words, they will both get spanked this year , same as last year . And now that Max won and Lewis lost, they will be nothing short of madmen this year, wait and see, you think last year was nuts, wait until this year, its going to be insane to say the least, visa vee Senna and Prost, thats the class that MV and LH are in. Ferrari is not on par with MB, thats Bull ****, how many more years is one going to use that excuse. my God, Vettel almost won the title with a truly crappy car, are you kidding, last years Ferraris car was way better than in 2018, and Vettel almost took the title Thank you
@Giallo 550 understands very well. Currently, who drives better?? a 2x WDC Alonso or a 4x WDC Vettel??? IMO, Alonso still has it...and he's 41yo in an inferior car but he defends and has to pick thru the field and avoid thru the field. Vettel WAS good because he had the car....then the turbo-hybrid era came and Vettel had a hard time adapting....he got beat by Ricciardo and Leclerc. Vettel's been declining ever since the turbo-hybrid era started. Vettel's F1 prowess is and was gone a long time ago. Let's see how Lewis does in 2022 with a new era and new rules and parity with RedBull and Max.
Nothing personal, but I really don't think you have the slightest clue about F1. Maybe you should stick to your Moto GP..... BTW, you're welcome. Anywho, whilst at it (Ferrari discussion), someone posted this on another board. Niki would have been 73 yesterday. Image Unavailable, Please Login
We all know Vettel has declined, all I am saying is that he did better in 2018, than Leclerc ever did since he was with Ferrari, and yes I love Alonso, he still has it, and if I remember correctly, when Ferraris car was really crap, he wrung its neck out, and that more than Leclerc does today. I am of the opinion that Alonso is also a much better driver than Leclerc, so theres that . Thank you
And by the way, Lauda was 10 times the driver than the two who are at Ferrari now . Leclerc and Sainze were both at the bottom of the list when it came to 2021 podiums, so theres that. When F1 has the talent line up as in Moto GP, it will much better. I dont take anything personal , no snowflake here, get that straight. I love the spirited debates here on F Chat, thats whats its for, in case one did not know that. Im looking forward to this years Moto GP and F1 , I hope you are as well Have a nice day Thank you
