Removed my rotten steel ANSA quad pipe which was blowing and fitted this SS single piper .
    It’s a 208 , so the quad was a after market anyhow.

It’s a sweeter sound you hear more induction .I like it .
It had no label on I bought it off eBay for a £400 bid 2 yrs ago and never got round to fitting, it needed its mounts altering .

Finally picked up from Italian dealership. Figure it'll be at least a few more months before it's on these US shores... (208 GT4)

Looked like it was concentrated in the corner by the drivers side gas tank. My guess is maybe a short in the wiring loom that runs up the firewall there which then caught the fuel line on fire. But that is just speculation on my part. In two minutes it was a goner.

Possibly the big rubber hose connecting the filler with the left hand tank. Its invisible unless you look up under the LHS rear wing and it gets perished like the others over time but is not visible. Its not pressurised like those after the pump so only leaks when filling up. Its pouring fuel down the inside of the body I only noticed mine was badly cracked and perished when I dropped a spanner down there and could clearly see it. The car had always had a slight fuel odor I had put down to the carbs etc but once changed it out and odor gone.

A fire just waiting to happen I think and maybe why so many of these fires seem to take place in gas station forecourts.

Sorry for your loss - looked like a good one.

Nice to see this Verde Pino.
Is the Dino script on the horn button correct for such a late car?
