Man I'm kickin' myself for turning my nose up at a perfect low mileage original Marrone one about 10 years ago! They truely are gorgeous cars and I used to think they looked awkward! My how time changes tastes! I think they are one of the most beautiful affordable cars, and I could've had a beauty! Thanks for showing all your fantastic machines, keep those pictues coming, I love 'em!! Ciao! Dennis

Hey Rick, I already wondered what had become of you! How about meeting up one of these days? I believe you are in the Amsterdam area, aren't you? I'm in Utrecht, so pretty close... Hans
Oh no of course not Ed, sorry. I've been busy the past 2 weeks working on the British cars, I have the tranny out of one and am installing new chrome on the other. I guess I haven't been real good at replying here; again my apologies. I'll look it up tomorrow as soon as I get a chance, ok?
Those of you who have been around a while will understand what I'm about to say. Please accept my apologies in advance. Every time I post info like this some numbskull who has no info of his own, has done no research, and has nothing better to do will bust my balls. So go away and go bother somebody else. I'm not saying anything about these numbers other than they are a compilation of databases, DMV records, EPA/DOT records, and personal observations. I believe they are as accurate as any info anywhere. However if you bet your house on my numbers and you lose don't come crying to me. Sorry for the rant but you just wouldn't believe the PM's I get. OK, so here we go. This is for US cars only. "US cars" means cars they were, or are, in the US and titled in a US state. Its interesting that a few GT4's were brought over from Europe, registered here, driven a few years, then sent back. Some US spec cars have been sent to live overseas. "Non stock configuration" are cars that have been modified, rebodied, etc. "Seen or registered" are cars that have been titled, or had plates issued since 1995. I could go back farther, but if it hasn't been on the road in 13 years I figure its probably a goner. Here is a snapshot of the recap from my database: . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very Interesting numbers. A couple of follow-ups and observations. 1. Very small numbers in total for how many ever came to the US. This makes me think of 250 GTE/330 GT numbers; big contrast to the later GTBs and GTSs. 2. Very surprised that the number of 208s that came to the US is that many. A car that was solely for the Italian doestic market because of a tax issue. As I understand it these could only have been grey market imports. 3. Dave, do you have data to break out how many of the original imported numbers are grey market versus US spec./factory distribution channel? Jeff
Correct. Here are the ones I have: 11022 11078 11168 11234 11420 11492 11552 11576 11662 11768 11946 13350 13550 Yes, but I'll have to compile it though. Give me a bit to get it done ok? My pleasure Ed. A lot of people ask me about rear seat delete cars. I show 11 US cars: 10148 10312 10316 10326 10334 10336 10366 10394 10540 10572 14628 Hope all this info helps or is at least interesting.
I show 27 euro cars, not counting the 208's which of course are all euro cars. I'm not quite as confident in that number as I am the numbers I posted above. If I had to I would say there is a 70-75% chance that 27 euro cars is accurate.
All you guys have to do to add your self to the list is copy and paste the list, then add yourself. I'll do it for you all one more time. This is pure self promotion, I admit it. The Houston Chronicle has a new poll where you can vote for your favorite Houston winery. I thought I'd look to the GT4 Mafia for a little help and was wondering if you'd be willing to cast your vote. You can do so here: http://www.chron.com/entertainment/dining/ Circle S Vineyards Thanks PS - Its REALLY interesting that 1 of the wineries they have listed hasn't been open for over a year and another one never opened
Do we get a 'sample' to 'help us vote...' I have a "testarossa" wine in my Ferrari paraphernalia collection , what you should do is issue a special edition 308 GT4 wine!
Haven't you seen the custom label program we do? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=199867 Here is a picture... Thats not an unreasonable request. Here you go, help yourself . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
