There a lots of 360's in Australia . Probably more than any other model. Many of them are UK imports. Does anyone know how many 360 UK imports in OZ. I think it is fair to say that the price of a reasonable 360 is in the vicinity of $100k. I think the price has bottomed because cheap stock is becoming scarce in the UK. Where do you guys see the price in12 months and why?
How much cheaper can they go? They're already approaching the price of a good 328 or 308.they seem a bit unloved, oddly. I don't understand car pricing at all.
Current price is basically a reflection of the UK price. AUD levels will affect the prices in the future as well.
Just resurrecting this post...... About a year on from the original post and it would seem prices are still stable with the 360. I'm looking at entering the Ferrari club with a 360. Some pretty hot debate on hear about avoiding the imports. Is it fair to say this model is getting a bad wrap because it's price has taken a hammering?
Lots over west, I see more 360s than any other "rare" car in just about every colour combination. CS rims/stock rims/challenge grille etc Seen a pink 360 also... Compliance has significantly dropped hasn't it? Just flooding the market now.
compliance is around $10k+gst+tyres now I think the flood has stopped for now because of the firming prices in UK. Falling AUD against GBP is not helping either. will be interesting to see what happens with this market over the next year or two
It's quiet interesting to do an internet search in the UK vs. Oz and see how availability compares. There seem to be far more available for sale in Oz now, and from what I have seen, a good third are UK imports. Not going to re-ignite the import debate, I've read enough here to know how people feel. I must admit, I like the idea of buying the best car you can, even if it's a bit more, in order to have a chance of re-sale later. Nobody thinks of resale when buying, but I have a garage full of toys that say maybe we should? Anyhow, continuing the research & search for the right 360!
Well if you want to maintain credibility in the F car(enthusiast) community, don'tUT BLOODY SHIELDS ON YOUR CAR...and If they are already on:TAKE 'EM OFF!. did you hear that????
Haha, riiiiight. As I said, learning every day. I assume you're talking about protection shields; 'car bra's' and the like? Or is it some other thing I am missing? I would also assume, if maintaining credibility in the F car community, steering clear of imports is a smart plan?
Give me a break. This is an excellent example of why you should IGNORE the "enthusiast" tossers. It's your bloody car. You paid for it. Do what you want with it. Especially seeing they don't rate anything after a 308 anyway... You are right re re-sale, but if you're going to buy "the best car you can", you'd buy an import nearly every time. Far more choice, far more likely to get the spec you want, and if you're shopping on a budget like most people you'll likely get a better car for your money.
Riiiiight...NOT....................the shields on a Ferrari,of any type, were put on to signify a racing pedigree of THAT particular car or type of car. Look it up. As Steve said, put as many on as you like....der.
the Challenge can therefore rightfully sport the shields ......... I had them on my GT4 as well .... I liked the look but copped heaps for doing it
Steve355 is right,do what YOU want to do with YOUR car, stuff what others think...life is too short to get hung up about trivial issues like this. It is this sort of stuffiness that gives Fcar owners a bad name. Go for it!
Funny thing is, if the 360 was factory ordered with shields, removing them would leave a rather odd looking shield outline on the front guards.
If you're gunna put shields on, may as well get the Ferrari penis enlarger as well Image Unavailable, Please Login
From 355 onwards a Ferrari could be ordered with "shields". The factory shields were recessed in to the guards. Perfectly ok on a 360. I don't particularly care for shields and think that Ferrari's are distinctive enough not to need another logo on the car. M
